Project 602

New River

New River

WHAT IS PROJECT 602?

Currently there are over 602,000 residents within a 20 mile radius of our present location. Project 602 is the next step in fulfilling what God has put on our heart’s for reaching those in the Tri-County area. Welcome to Project 602.

WHY NOW?

  • We are maxed out in our current auditorium during our 4 weekend services.
  • There are services today where we can’t fit ONE more child in our Preschool area.
  • Due to space restraints, we have been forced to combine all Elementary students into one auditorium.
  • With only one multi-purpose room, The Well, we are limited on the amount of discipleship classes we are able to facilitate.

WHAT’S THE COST?

Having the property paid in full, we estimate the project to cost 5M.

WHAT’S THE TIMING?

  • Install New Parking Lot – August, 2012
  • Groundbreaking – October, 2012
  • Completion of Project – October, 2013

WILL MY CONTRIBUTION BE KEPT PRIVATE?

In the same way that all giving is kept confidential - Absolutely. We will only announce the total amount of all gifts collectively received and faith commitments over the 36 month duration of Project 602.

WHAT’S THE PLAN FOR OUR CURRENT FACILITY?

The current Preschool wing will get a facelift and we will also add 3 new baby/toddler rooms. The existing Kids Auditorium will be the new 3rd-5th grade auditorium and breakout space while The Well will be used for the K-2 worship and breakout space. The present auditorium will remain and will be used for student and college worship, as well as various ministry events.

HOW CAN I GIVE?

  • By Check. (write “Project 602” in the memo line)
  • Online through this website
  • Via Credit Card or Debit Card
  • Gifts of Stock or other assets

WHAT ABOUT THE OFFERING I ALREADY GIVE?

During this period of rapid expansion and growth, the ministries of New River will be working harder than ever meeting the needs of people. Because of this, we ask that your Project 602 cash gift and faith commitment be above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings. This way, the vital ministries of the church will not falter but will keep pace with the ever-growing needs of our church, community and world.
